Our protein services combine expression optimization, purification expertise and comprehensive protein analytical capabilities to ensure that your protein is made according to your precise specifications. Whether you need protein made in bacterial, yeast or mammalian hosts, we can help.
- Custom antibody services and antibody development, antibody development, antibody humanization & antibody engineering. Your antibody is safe in our hands. Every year, we express and purify thousands of recombinant antibodies and antibody fragments , apply our GPS design platform to humanize antibodies, increase antibody potency, and build highly productive cell lines for the manufacturing of therapeutics.
- Gmp cell banking. ATUM’s cGMP-compliant Cell Banking Facility provides full assurance of uninterrupted operation, and of the quality, of manufactured master (MCB) and working cell banks (WCB). ATUM offers cell banking from CHO cell lines developed in-house or elsewhere, along with molecular, viability and growth potential testing of cell banks in storage stability programs.
- Cell line development with leap-in transposase®. ATUM's Leap-In transposases and synthetic transposons enable a cost-effective, easily implemented cell line development workflow encompassing cell line generation and cell line engineering. ATUM's Leap-In technology delivers high productivity pools and cell lines, resulting in consistent product quality. - Analytics. We offer a range of protein analytic services to characterize the identity, purity, quantity and quality at every stage of your protein - from discovery all the way to manufacturing. Every protein purified at ATUM includes the following standard analytical package: appearance description, quantitation by A280, molecular weight and purity analysis by micro-capillary electrophoresis, and aggregation analysis by SEC-HPLC. The standard package can be augmented with other protein analytical services. We can work with you to build an analytical package appropriate for your molecule and subsequent applications (e.g., IND filing, toxicology studies).
- Assay development. ATUM has extensive in-house assay capabilities, including mass spectrometry, HPLC, fluorescent reader and bio-layer interferometry (ForteBio Octet Red384 and HTX Systems). We can develop a new assay to support your project, or transfer your assay to us. If you have a specialized assay that needs to be performed by you or by a 3rd party, we will work with you to develop appropriate procedures for material and data transfer.
